The LME is pleased to announce its 2007 programme of plastics educational workshops. LME Plastics Workshops will continue to be offered free of charge in 2007.
The workshops explain the services that the LME is offering to the plastics industry – pricing, hedging and delivery. LME Executives will explain how the LME price is discovered, how this price can be utilised in physical transactions, the LME’s delivery mechanism of last resort and how hedging with futures contracts can assist in managing price risk.
The workshops also make clear the enhancements to Polypropylene (PP) and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) contracts including regional contracts and additional prompt dates effective 25 June 2007.
