After nearly 18 years Neil Banks has taken early retirement from the LME. His career at the Exchange has taken him through almost every aspect of the business from finance and regulation, through operations and warehousing and finally to membership and new product launches.
Commenting on Neil Bank’s retirement, Martin Abbott LME chief executive said:
“I have known Neil for 18 years having worked with him for three years in a previous stint at the LME and I would like to express my thanks for his contributions to the Exchange, and my best wishes for his retirement. His experience and knowledge will be missed, not only by his Excom colleagues but throughout the company.”
Neil will now finally take time to indulge his passions for sailing, heavy metal music and fast cars.
