| LME listed Samplers and Assayers are organisations skilled in dealing with issues arising in many fields of non-ferrous metals and other commodities connected with physical and chemical quality.
From an LME perspective the approved organisations have a dual role. For most of the metals brands listed by the LME, LSA's are required to sample and evaluate metals which are subject to assessment for quality prior to registration. Evaluation requires compliance with LME contract standards.
The other direct role is to issue certificates of analysis basis agreed sampling procedures for metals to be placed on LME warrant and where original producer documentation may not be available. |
