Futures prices from the ring
Ring trading takes place Monday to Friday 11.45-17.00.  Dealing teams from the ring dealing members assemble at the Exchange where open outcry trading ("the ring") is carried out.  At around 13.15 London time the LME official price for each contract is set.

• Separate bid, ask and trade prices for any future or index contracts quoted - outright, spread or average
• Daily official prices for cash, 3-month, 15-month and 27-month metal futures contracts following the second morning ring trading session. Also copper grade A and standard lead pounds sterling equivalent prices
• Daily official prices for plastics
• Daily official cash settlement prices following each contract's second morning ring trading session
• Daily official FX rates following the second morning ring trading session
• Daily moving monthly average FX rates
• Daily unofficial prices for all contracts following the second afternoon ring trading session
• Daily official index value

Member-contributed prices
Futures and options pre-trade prices are contributed by all the Ring Dealing Members and the majority of Associate Broker Clearing Members and are input from UK and overseas offices 24 hours a day - the busiest period being 07.00 – 19.00 London time.   All prices are indicative, in bid/ask pairs and in US dollars.  Copper grade A and standard lead can also be quoted in GBP.

• Quotes for the metal futures three month outright contracts, nearby and far forward spreads and averages
• Quotes for index futures forward 12 months
• Traded option volatility quotes for metals six months forward and three months forward for the index contract

Futures and options prices from LME Select
LME Select, the LME’s electronic trading platform is open for trading between 07.00 and 19.00 Monday to Friday.  LME Select is complimentary to ring trading and the inter office market.
 
• Pre-trade best bid and best ask prices for all contracts traded with aggregate volume
• Post trade prices with traded volume
• Open, High, Low, Last traded prices published at 19.00 each day

Warehouse stocks

The daily warehouse stock figures from LME-approved warehouses are published at 9am each morning (London time).  Stock movements are reflective of the physical supply / demand state of the market.  This report provides:

• Daily opening stock totals
• Daily closing stock totals
• Daily movement in and out of warehouses and net change
• Stocks totals per warehouse location
• Stocks totals per metal grade, where relevant
• Closing stocks by ‘on warrant’ and ‘cancelled warrant’

Other exchange data
The LME also publishes a number of daily and monthly data reports from the LCH (London Clearing House) that add value to the price data and provides users with a full overview of the market to assist with fully informed trading decisions.

High / Low Data
• Official high bid and low offer prices for futures 3-month contracts at six timed intervals throughout the 24-hour day
• Official high bid and low offer prices for futures 3-month contracts following each ring and kerb trading session

Futures and Options Volumes
• Futures & traded options volumes reports, intra-day, end of day and previous day

Options Volatilities
• Real time daily indicative traded options volatilities, deltas and call and put premiums

Options Strike Prices
• Monthly traded options auto declaration strike price information

Futures and Options Closing Prices
• Daily futures and traded options provisional and final closing prices (evening evaluation) reports
• Daily provisional and final evening evaluation exchange rates

Futures and Options Open Interest
• Daily futures and traded options open interest reports

Futures and TAPO Averages
• Official monthly average settlement prices for all contracts on the last business day of the month
• Daily notional average prices for all TAPO contracts
• Daily monthly moving average prices for all TAPO contracts
• Monthly average settlement prices for all TAPO contracts on the last business day of the month
